My surroundings didn’t exactly help my mental state.

…as my depression got worse, my surroundings didn’t exactly help my mental state. Constantly witnessing the small, industrial town I grew up in, being polluted and torn apart beyond repair while seeing my mother’s own childhood village being sold to crooks and stripped of its natural beauty for personal gains, was just too much for me to bear.
